Origin of the stampset
People’s police is one of the most important armed forces of the Party and State. In addition to setting good example and conforming to the law, cadres of security branch have to make sure that the law and constitution are seriously in force.
Under the leader of the Party and Government, public police force has recorded great achievements, contributed remarkably to the cause of building up and defending of country throughout more than haft century of establishment and development.
On the 19th of May 2005, Ministry of Posts and Telematics (MPT) issues the stampset "60th Anniversary of Foundation of Public police forces (19/8/1945-19/8/2005)" consisting of 02 values with their denominations of 800d (3325) and 10,000d (3326).
The stamps generalize glorious tradition of Public Police forces in the past 60 years.
