On 1st August 2006, the Ministry of Post and Telematics (MPT) issues the stampset “Creeper’s flowers” consisting of 4 values:
- Value 4-1 (3409): Momordica blossom with a denomination of 800d
- Value 4-2 (3410): Fragrant cynanthe flower with a denomination of 3,000d
- Value 4-3 (3411): Bitter melon blossom with a denomination of 5,000d
- Value 4-4 (3412): Fiber melon blossom with a denomination of 8,000d
The stamps are featured in a lively & realistic style that highlights the beauty of these flowers. These are 4 familiar species which are grown on trellis for decoration. Its fruits are also used as good foods and medicament. They are very common and can be seen anywhere throughout Vietnam.
