Until February 14, Saint-Valentin Postmaster will again cancel thousands of greeting cards, love letters and warm wishes with a postmark specially designed for the occasion… an original way of saying "I love you!".
In 2003, more than 7 350 greeting cards were cancelled by the post office of Saint-Valentin, a charming municipality of 550 residents along the Richelieu River. The cards received not only come from the four corners of Quebec and other provinces but also from abroad. Each year, cards are mailed back to loved ones all over the world to such places as the United States, France, Japan, Germany…It just shows that love knows no barriers!
