Origin of the stampset
After winning glorious victories in the two wars against France colonialism and United States imperialism, unifying north and south, Vietnam communist party have been leading people to gain initial achievements in the renovation cause in spite of great deal of difficulties.
On February 3, 2005, our Party celebrates officially its 75th founding anniversary. To implement the Politburo's decision on marking important events in the year, Ministry of Posts & Telematics (MPT) issues the stampset "75th Founding Anniversary of Vietnam Communist Party (3/2/1930 - 3/2/2005)" with 01 value of 800d (3315).
The stamp generalizes the images about Vietnam Communist Party and its founder, President Ho Chi Minh who have been leading the Vietnam revolutionary cause from one victory to another in both defending & building the country.
