Province of Khanh Hoa has not only a respected age-old history, a diversified culture but also a tourist potentially with four famous bays: Van Phong, Nha Trang, Nha Phu and Cam Ranh among which Nha Trang bay has already recognized as one of the 29 World’s most Beautiful Bays.
The Sea Festival 2005 consisting of many art & culture programs is largely held from 30 March to 3 April, 2005 in the tourist City of Nha Trang.
Besides, within the Festival, representatives of more than 20 countries having the best Bays in the world take part in the seminar with the theme "To solidly develop the sea tourist and protect the sea environment”
On this occasion, Ministry of Posts and Telematics (MPT) issues the stampset "Nha Trang Bay" consisting of 02 values (3317 - 3318) with their denominations of 800d and 8,000d
The stamps feature bay of Nha Trang, a beauty- spot and a famous tourist destination of Khanh Hoa province, one of the most beautiful bays in the world. The stamps are designed with vignettes showing the images of Thap Ba and Oceanography Institute that are very typical in Nha Trang
